I was in the Womb where life begins

And in water, and then into the eye of Beaver

I was in the Cosmic Womb, the Waters of Life

The Beaver lodge shaped like a Womb

Where Beavers are conceived and born

The Home, The Womb

In the second Sound Healing Theater performance of The Soul’s Home Project, Life Force Arts Ensemble again invokes Beaver, the spirit guide for this year-long exploration of the meanings of home through following the life cycle of Beaver. In early spring, Beavers stay close in their lodges, through pregnancy and the birth of their young. Meditate on both the tenderness of young growing things that need protection, as well as the enormous power of the Void from whence all things are birthed into Being. Let the subtle, steady, nurturing rhythm of our words, movement and music weave a tapestry of peace in your heart. Performers: Natalja Aicardi, Linmayu Appavu, James Cornolo. Joan Forest Mage.

LFAE Performances include a meditation on the art in our exhibit (current exhibit is The Soul’s Home) which creates the sacred space for our performance of sound healing, channeled dance & music & shamanic journey meditation.
The Art Meditation is the first section of our performance. It is a chance to spend contemplative time with the art in our current exhibit. This is sacred time to allow the art’s spiritual power to create insights and transformation within us. As you are observing the art, Life Force Arts Ensemble will be creating live music that relates to the theme of tonight’s performance.

“[Life Force Arts] Ensemble was amazing! Sonorous chanting moving over me like a balm! Healing and empowering.”

“Life Force Arts Ensemble’s performance is raw and vulnerable, and at the same time artful…the performers are laid bare by the manifestation of Spirit. It’s the kind of vulnerability that might make some uncomfortable, which is exactly why it’s such a powerful thing to experience… what you are really seeing is a glimpse of what it means to be a spiritual being learning to be human.

“I was impressed by the quality of the music (instruments and voices); your trio was breathtaking! Apollo Chapa was really charismatic when they read their poem. I felt Apollo’s dedication. I got involved in the process. LFAE’s performance was a great experience because all arts are involved. The way you show people how to look at a painting is fantastic. I remember the audience member who said she had never really looked at a work of art that way before.”

“LFAE’s Sound Healing gave me a glimpse of the absolute.”
