Shamanism is an ancient form of spiritual practice and spiritual healing through connecting to one’s spirit guides.
Our tradition of shamanic practice at Life Force is based in the Life Force Wisdom Wheel which Joan Forest Mage received as a “download” from the Universe beginning in 1985. A spiritual practice rooted in the visual and performing arts, it is a modern version of universal teachings about human consciousness and human relationship with oneself, society, Nature and Spirit. These teachings value and harmonize True Self with Creative Community.
In 2001, Joan began teaching the Life Force Shamanic Training program, which provides training from the basics of shamanism to establishing a firm personal shamanic practice, and progressing to doing shamanic healing and teaching for others.
Please join Shaman Joan for an introduction to this practice. We will experience:
- the classic shamanic journey to meet our spirit animal
- Energetic Protection exercise
- understanding how YOU perceive the spirit realm with your psychic senses
- an overview of the Wisdom Wheel, for finding your spirit guides
- an overview of the history of shamanism in its many cross-cultural forms
This class is a great preparation for Life Force Shamanic Training Level 1.
