This performance will be held via video conferencing on Zoom. This performance can also be attended as part of the Healing Arts Intensive, “Isadora” which starts on February 20.

LFAE’s performance Isadora is the second of a series of performances based in the True Self, one of the core concepts of the Life Force Arts Method. It is the theme of LFAE’s current art exhibit, The Soul’s Essence, the set of the performance. In this performance, we explore the soul’s essence as a person has an inner sense of who they are, who has faith and trust they are on the right path, who keeps developing themselves. They do not get distracted by others who misunderstand or criticize them. Standing firm in their belief in themselves, they prove that they were right all along.

Isadora Duncan (1877 – 1927) was an American dancer and choreographer whose revolutionary ideas transformed dance, liberated women, and returned the body to the inspiration of Nature and Spirit.  “I spent long days and nights in the studio seeking that dance which might be the divine expression of the human spirit through the medium of the body’s movement.” Casting aside the rigidity and patriarchal system of ballet and vaudeville-style entertainment, Isadora danced barefoot in a simple tunic to create her vision of beauty, and the world joined her dance. LFAE’s performance Isadora is the second of a series of performances based in the True Self, one of the core concepts of the Life Force Arts Method, and the theme of LFAE’s current art exhibit, The Soul’s Essence, the setting of the performance.

Life Force Arts Ensemble(LFAE) is a company of visual, literary and performing artists who commune with soul and spirit to create transformation through the arts based in the Life Force Arts Method, a powerful psychological and spiritual tool for building positive relationships from one’s inner world to the outer world. LFAE’s art exhibits create the sacred space for our original performances, which combine dance, vocal and instrumental music, acting, storytelling and poetry, channeling powerful spiritual energy to transform, heal and enlighten our audiences.
Life Force Arts Ensemble was founded in 1988 as a non-profit, tax exempt 501 (c) 3 organization to present the dance and performance work of company founder and director Joan Forest Mage. The organization opened its own venue in Chicago in 2008.

We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.
