You are invited to join us in honoring and exploring relationships with nature allies (past, present, and future) through sharing stories and ecstatic engagement with their energies. We will have opportunities to contemplate and feel synergies, possibilities, and directions for our work with nature entities and energies. After we share stories about personally transformative nature encounters, there will be time and space for spiritually engaging with nature allies through music, movement, and art. Please feel free to bring drums, rattles, and other musical instruments as well as stories, poems, and songs to share.

This event is an episode of the Connecting with the Land Workshop Series (www.landsolution.com/connectingwiththeland.html) and features creative offerings of the Life Force Arts Ensemble (www.lifeforcearts.org).

We will be gathering at the Life Force Arts Center in Chicago, and folks are also welcome to attend via Zoom. The cost for the event is $45.  Zoom information will be made available after registration.

Adam Davis has been facilitating workshops of the “Connecting with the Land Workshop Series” since 1998. He has significant training and experience in deep ecology, natural science, meditative and shamanic techniques, environmental protection and conservation, and facilitation of many kinds of classes and ceremonies.

When he was young, Adam discovered that different energies and entities occur in different places in the landscape, and he noticed that the essence of each sacred place affected his mind, body, and spirit. These principles are still a key part of Adam’s spiritual practice and are integral to the way that he approaches his work with nature. Adam is pledged in service to land and people which involves nature awareness, conservation, land stewardship, and treating all of nature’s entities and energies with respect.

All backgrounds and walks of life are welcome at the Connecting with the Land workshops. Adam is committed to respecting the traditions of those present, and he uses language and activities that help folks engage with nature in ways that fit their unique personalities and life situations.
