The Fellowship of Isis (FOI) Chicago and Life Force Shamanic Arts & Healing invites the Parliament of the World’s Religions attendees and the general public to join us for a Reception & Opet Ritual on Sunday, August 13 from 5 – 8 PM at Life Force Arts Center, 1609 W. Belmont, Chicago IL 60657.
Enjoy food, drink, and fellowship while viewing the artwork in Life Force’s current exhibit, Conscious Body, Living Soul: From Sentience to Sovereignty.
The Fellowship of Isis (FOI) is a peaceful society with members worldwide from all cultures, races and religions that honors the Divine Feminine in all of Her forms and the good in all faiths. Attendees will be able to learn more about further events and activities offered by FOI and Life Force, a space for sacred art and healing in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood.
This event will include the opportunity to witness and participate in an Opet Ritual led by the FOI Chicago. Opet is an Ancient Egyptian festival celebrating the heliacal rising of Sirius and the annual flooding of the Nile.
