A message from Beaver: “I know when to work, and I know when to rest. Humans have been spending too much time in the elements of Fire and Air, energy and intellect. They need to slow down, ground, and flow, like the Earth and Water. I can teach them about this.”

In the depths of winter, Beavers cuddle up with their beaver families and stay inside, resting and renewing for the coming spring.

This Ritual Theater performance by Life Force Arts Ensemble invokes the wisdom of Beaver, the silence and peace of winter, gathering with family and friends and allowing the longest night to bring us visions for the coming year.

“LFAE’s performance gave me a glimpse of the absolute.”

“Life Force Arts Ensemble’s performance is raw and vulnerable, and at the same time artful…the performers are laid bare by the manifestation of Spirit. It’s the kind of vulnerability that might make some uncomfortable, which is exactly why it’s such a powerful thing to experience… what you are really seeing is a glimpse of what it means to be a spiritual being learning to be human.

“[Life Force Arts] Ensemble was amazing! Sonorous chanting moving over me like a balm! Healing and empowering.”
