Joan Forest Mage is a shamanic healer, teacher and performing artist. First awakened to energy work through her life-long profession of music and dance, Joan began doing shamanic healing in 1995 and created an extensive Shamanic Training program. She received a Master of Arts degree from School for New Learning, De Paul University, Chicago, with the focus area “Creating Healing Ritual Through the Arts.“ She has studied shamanism and healing ritual with numerous teachers, and is the founder and director of Life Force Arts Ensemble. Sally Cooper

Board Member
Sally Cooper is an artist, poet, jewelry designer, dancer and performance artist. She is an Ensemble member and has been an Exhibiting Artist in many LFAE shows. “I found a new home at Life Force,” says Sally. “I now serve as a board member as well as a client relations manager.” Sally loves participating in the LFAE’s Healing Arts Intensive programs. “The Healing Arts Intensives really help people transform into a better, more real version of themselves.” Sally served the blind community for 33 years as Volunteer Coordinator at Blind Service Association in Chicago.
William Endsley

William Endsley

Board Member
William Endsley (Board Member) has over twenty years experience in developing international markets and has traveled throughout the Americas, Asia, Europe and Africa working to develop professionals in the finance and real estate sector as a means for inclusive economic development and global security. He is an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University and is currently serving as the Research and Education Specialist of FIABCI, the International Real Estate Federation. As the Principal Consultant for World Citizen Consulting, he is engaged by the Center for International Private Enterprise and IHC Global on the International Property Markets Scorecard. He previously served as the Director of International Relations at the Appraisal Institute where he directed the organization’s entry into China, Germany, Korea and Turkey.

Assistant Executive Director
Linmayu Appavu (Assistant Executive Director) started with LFAE as a volunteer in 2009, and quickly found a home among like-minded creative people who shared her passion about the arts, the true love of the Divine for all people, and the value and importance of each individual’s unique life path. Linmayu has worked with LFAE as a visual artist, performer, and presenter, as well as in an administrative capacity. In her previous work for corporations including AXA Assistance USA and Computershare Funds Services, she has often used aspects of the Life Force Arts Method to solve organizational problems and conflicts and create more harmonious and effective relationships within and between teams and departments. She graduated from Cornell University with a degree in apparel design.
Steven Blaine Adams

Steven Blaine Adam

Associate Artistic Director
Steven Blaine Adams (Associate Artistic Director) is LFAE’s Associate Artistic Director & Curator, and exhibit and store designer. Steve has created art and jewelry for over 50 years, working with natural materials like stones and crystals to create symbols with spiritual resonance. With Joan Forest Mage and other Ensemble members, he has co-curated all 38 LFAE art exhibits. Steve attributes meditation, art, ritual and spiritual connection as instrumental catalysts in his path towards healing.
